My DD has been watching my DS TTing and kept wanting to wear his undies so I went out and bought some today as I knew she basically fit into DS's smaller undies, washed them all and then tried some on her tonight before she went to bed and they are HUGE on her...
She has such a tiny little waist and basically no bottom to speak of is only 18mo so I'm not having huge expectations on her to TT but figured if it happens now then great.
She is about a size 1 waist and is really long for her age. Them being a bit big does help in that she figured out how to pull them on and off within about 5 mins of having them on:thumbsup: so will make TTing if she is ready easier but I guess really I want to know, where can I get little girl undies which aren't going to swim on her??
TIA for your advice...
btw I got her some Dora and winnie the pooh undies from target as she picked them out. and I had previously bought DS some from there too and the boy style fits her.
bonds are good. they make them smaller and the crotch area shorter than say best and less or target brand. go for hipsters over briefs as they are smaller too. i got some hipster target ones that fit well but not in a multi pack, only in single or pairs.

My dd was 20mnths when she TT I got size 2-3 and they fitted perfectly. Otherwise maybe get the terry ones at coles.
size 2-3 wont fit a skinny kid. unless you try a few diff ones. my DD is 2.5 and still only in 2-3 and the briefs are wayyy baggy.

if she wanted to wear them for the novelty and not for TT maybe you could just put them over her nappy?
Does she like wiggles? Maybe get her some boys ones with wiggles on them for now...

We have a very skinny 4 year old who weighs 14.5 kgs. I found that buying the bonds hipster briefs in size 2-3 fit her really well or the Target brand ones do as well. Any other brand and they fall off her non existent hips and bum.

Well sorry but my dd ain't a chubby kid and they fitted her perfectly!!
what i am saying is size 2-3 is the smallest you can get, and the way you worded your post confused me. im pretty sure the OP has already tried size 2-3 and was asking for brands that may be a smaller make. not what size she should get KWIM? you cant buy smaller that I know of (and i have checked 5 stores for smaller than 2-3 hence why we had to get bonds or hipsters)

It is a pain that you can't buy anything smaller. DD's undies are always falling down!

I buy dd's knickers from target, thats the only place that has them small enough, they are still a bit loose but good enough to stay around her waist, but they aren't filled out IYKWIM.

thanks girls... I'll have a look into the bonds/hipster ones when we go to the shops today.
Yes we have tried the size 2-3 and definately too big for her.
I'm not expecting to TT her atm but she was having a meltdown when I put a nappy on her when DS was wearing undies so that's why I bought her some of her own, she was happy to wear them over her nappy until a couple of days ago, then almost every time I put a nappy on her she'd have a tanty. ahh well pretty nappy covers for now, lol.
