Hi! I'm making an Indian Lamb curry out of the Donna Hay book.

HELP!!!!! Can anyone out there please help me cook rice in a rice cooker. I've had it for the longest time but have to rely on cooking rice the old fashioned way cause it comes out crunchy in the rice cooker. My SIL and a friend also, recommended adding enough water to the rice to be at the first crease in your little finger when its in the rice cooker bowl. Does that make sense?
I tried it last night and it still came out fairly crunchy. Anyone got a tried and true method?

Oooh I love Donna! Hope it's nice, i'm sure it will be.

With rice I always put 1 cup of rice to 2 cups of water, I think that should be right.

Use the absorbtion method listed on the rice packet.
The way I do it is one and half cups of water to every cup of rice.
