pregnancy after birth?

I am wondering if many of you have conceived within a short amount of time after birth. I have heard the odd story that it CAN happen - but I have been taking the risk of unprotected sex, due to the fact that I am breast-feeding and still feeding a couple of times overnight. I preesume I'm reasonably safe???

after my first son, i was bleeding for 6 weeks, and breastfeeding.
I fell pregnant 10 weeks after giving birth. and on the mini pill also.

My SIL's children are 13 months apart. She was breastfeeding constantly.

i was bf every two hours for the first 6 weeks with dd and fell pregnant
