My bub's chrsitening robe has been in the family for generations. On her baptism it got make up on it (foundation). The dry cleaner couldn't get it out. It is made of silk organza. Any suggestions? my MIL will never let me hear the end of it. Please help!!!!! Can you napisan and hand wash organza silk?
Hi there - I am not sure which state you are in 0 - but Adrienne and Mrs Bonney in Double Bay and St Ives restored my sons christening gown and it too had brown marks and some of the lace was ripped etc and it now looks stunning.
The gown was 3 generations old. If you take the gown down to them or ring them they will eb able to fix it or if not definatley be able to point you in the right direction.
Good Luck
