Seeking upper north shore mothers group

I'm new to the whole mum thing (my DD is 3months old) and I'm new to the upper north shore area, i.e. Hornsby/Waitara. I was wondering if there was a mother's group I could join around here??
If anyone lives around here and meets up regularly, would love to join in as I don't know many people around here!

No I'm new to the area... I grew up in the Hills area.. my DH grew up on the north shore and wanted to raise our DD here so we moved here about 6 months ago.

How long have you been around this area? Do you go to any mother group and if so, what are they like?
