Hi Anna:wave:
I have emailed you the email, send it to all your doula associates we need to get the word around
Good on you Mel great work..
I was thinking about what wold be good to wish for, I think it would be great to have a mentor program for the trainee doulas because as it is at the moment you start out from scratch all on your own I think it would be great for a trainee to shadow an experienced doula for a couple of antenatal sessions and births the whole deal so then when they go out they are super confident..
My ideas:idea: hehe
:hugs: Jodie
Maybe Doulas you can post your wishes!!

Hi Jodie and Mel,
I have been looking into doing the Doula course for a little while now and must say that your idea of having a trainee is excellent. This is one part of the process that has put me off of starting to do any course. I think private health insurance is a great idea also.
have given you my email address!! V.interested!!

Hi there!
I think i might already be signed up but can you PM me the details aswell please!
I love the idea about trainee Doula's shadowing a Qualified Doula. I am lucky to have a few qualified Doula's in Townsivlle. They run a company called Townsville Birth Buddies. I have spoken with Phillipa, one of the owners, and i might be able to go along with her as an observer.
I think it really is a excellent idea. Its quite a scary thing having to go into it without much support.
Thanks for posting!
can i have details too? thanks :)
PM me too please!
i just signed up for the CBI course yesterday
