View Full Version : Do you ever turn your music up
and sing... loudly.. then wonder if the neighbours can hear that :barf:
Yes, always, but I don't really care!
I've never heard any complaints!:p
My girls like my singing, so does hubby, anyone else I couldn't give a rats about!:D
haha Chris had a discussion about me and singing last night
Apparently I can sing, so long as I can hear the melody. and Keychanges aren't my thing :p
Once upon about 15 years ago yes. Now no. We have some young girls behind us who when their parents go out, play the same madonna song over and over again clear as a bell. I hate to think what I used to put my mothers neighbours through :o

I have a terrible singing voice... but luka likes it and we sing and dance... he likes the Kaiser Chiefs and Groove Armada :D.
We have the radio on all day instead of the telly...
All the time. I don't think my neighbours can hear me ... though the people walking past in the hallway definitely can :o
I do worry. We rent. Noise pollution is an issue.

yes i love to have my music up load it helps me with cleaning. there was 1 time i was singing with the music and dont forget the dancing:laughing: i turned around to the front door and there was a man standing there from optus or something it was very :o embrassing he thought it was quite funny:laughing: .
I think the question should be 'do you ever turn the music down'
I love listening to music but it has to be loud and I have to sing otherwise there is no point :p
yep...
but I don't care what the neighbours think... If I want to bop away to something tacky I will.
More often than not though I'm singing away with no music... mainly when doing the dishes.

My brother brought over a microphone that plugs into the TV and it has in built karaoke songs on it (with a fantastic echo sound effect added). I cranked up the TV volume and went to town...
"Hit me with your best shot" by Pat Benatar.
It then scores your performance at the end...I got a 10/10...don't know if the neighbours agreed! :D
all the time :o but then again I doubt anyone can actually hear me over the music.. added bonus of being a metal head

Usually just play it loud when alone in the car. Some tunes just HAVE to be played loud. Can't have it too loud in the house as need to hear the kids but my DD enjoys my singing!! She's been showing me the dance moves to Macarena which she's been learning at kindy.

I do.. mostly when I have Lionel Richie/Commodores on :o . It brings me back to the best part of my childhood, the only good part of it.
I'm going to go to his concert with MIL in December and now that you all know that I love Lionel, I'll have to shoot you all :p

 yep, all the time, especially on Friday's when DD is at daycare and I work in our office at home. I have all the old 80's stuff blaring usually :D oh, and hubby says I hum to absolutely every song that comes on, whether it be an oldie, new chart music, or something from the wiggles or a kids show. LMAO
haha not only in the house... but in the car!!... lol.... and I drive with my window down!!... but hey whats that saying... 'sing like no one is listening and dance like no one is watching'... yep sounds like me!!!

All the time, and I encourage the boys to sing along with me. Not one of us can hold a tune but we don't care:D

Yep - and my tunes of choice are Queens Greatest Hits (Disk 1 because Disk 2 is boring...).
I LOVE to belt out those songs! The neighbours would DEFINATELY hear!
Yeah Love turning up the music and singing! :D
Our neighbours are used to my husband in the garage and they don't like it much. (Fighting over who is louder  They like pop we prefer rock and metal)
