I've been shopping but im sure to forgat something and if someone swears by having a particular thing then i will need to write it down!!! lol or i will forget and go to those horrible shops again:laughing: .

Thanks

Perhaps even just having some cash for when you get home. Weird I know but then you can send family and friends out for stuff and pay them immediately.

A sling, I did have a baby bjorn and it was not any good for my back.

I suggest something like a Hug a bub or calmawrap, but if you would like something a bit more structured then I would go for the ergo.

If you can afford it or get it as a gift, I found a nappy service invaluable, I just didn't realise how many nappy changes you do with a newborn (8-10 in 24hrs from memory), and they provided nappies, a bin (nappy, liner, wipes everything goes in) and they deliver once a week and collect soiled ones twice per week - I am definately having one again, even if I have to pay for it myself!

I also found invaluable, a sling. I had a babasling, but this time also have a karime sling (UK brand), similar to a hugabub. I have baby carriers similar to baby bjorn (a love n care and kapoochi), all were gifts but are better for an older baby 6mths +, and it helped bubs to settle, allowed me to do stuff around the house (cook/clean/hang out washing), was great for breastfeeding, esp in public and for shopping, kept my hands free!!

Having lots of washers/cloth nappies to wipe up possetting, or little baby spews; and breast pads!!
