Hi all

I am using regular terry toweling clothies for DS (2 months) but am finding it hard to find quality liners.

So what I wanted to know is, does anyone have a suggestion for what I can make my own liners out of???

TIA

flannalette is nice and soft. or you could use fleece against the terry.

i was lucky enough to win a heap of little wishes liners from ebay recently and bub just loves them

I buy a polar fleece blanket from best and less for $4.99 and cut it up to the size of the nappy, works great:thumbsup: and much cheaper than buying the material from spotlight;)

Not necessarily.. it doesn't really cost that much, and a metre of fabric will get you well over 25 liners if you make them 12cm x 20cm..

really? I was able to make 20 liners out of the blanket. When I went to spotlight, all I could see was $12.95 p/m and the blanket was over a meter. (I'm not being cheeky btw, just interested in what is the best value for money:) )

Hehehe.. it's OK, happy to pass on my info..

Did you ask a staff member to point you in the right direction?

Normal polarfleece should always be less than $10.00 per metre..

It's also handy to have some raw silk liners for rashy times. The sericin (which is made naturally by silk worms) helps to prevent and heal nappy rashes.
You can get them from Baby Soft Landings, Nuture Nappies, Sustainable Hemp Products, The Weewuns, etc.
They don't have the same stay-dry feel that fleece has, but they are worth having.
