Sewing Malden mills curly fleece

For those who have used the MM curly fleece, which side did you use for the outside, they are both so nice i cant decide which side would be best, I really like the shorter shinier side but am wondering how it washes up. I have an idea that the other side is the "outside". HELP i want to use the prettiest side possible. I would love to see pics of either side after it has been washed a few times.

I was tossing up too but used the long side on the outside. (I think)

I put the shiny side on the outside. It washes up pretty good, the cream one get a tiny bit of pilling, but I think thats because I wash on hot but it's not really noticeable (SP?)
