View Full Version : Advice needed!!!
Hi all,
I recently just found out i was pregnant, and have a problem... i only have a 2 door charade which i love to bits and hasnt given me any problems so would prefer not to sell it...
To overcome the baby seat problem i will be getting a compact safe'n'sound.... but can anyone recommend a stroller that will actually fit in my boot?
Your help will be much appreciated!

HI Emmajane!
I have a mitsubishi mirage, so my boots not too big either!
The first pram i had didnt fit in my boot so i had to always sit it in the front seat...but now he's older i bought a stroller/pram from Kmart, it's a safety 1st grey and red on, four wheeler...it folds in half and it fits in my boot...it can be used from birth also!

Congratulaions on your pregnancy. We recently bought a very compact Stroller it called "quicksmart" and it's made by Safety 1st. It folds up really small and is light. It has many steps to opening and can be a bit of a pain. However, I wouldn't recommend it for a newborn as it only sits up. You would really need a pram that lays down as I know of no stroller that does. You may feel differently about your car situation in a few months time.
Good luck with everything and welcome to bubhub.

Also with the baby seat, i got a "turn an tot" one...it's great, it can face backwards for when they're neborn, but you can turn the seat around so it's easy to get bub out...check it out, its worth it considering you have a two door aswell :)
Thank you so much for all your help, will check both the pram and carseat out!!!!

I have a steelcraft pram/stroller, it's orange and black. Suitable from birth. It's only about $120 aswell. It's great for shopping centres etc, but not that good if you want to go off road.
We also just bought the Valco Runabout Deluxe 3 wheeler. It is great. It folds really small cos the wheels come off easy. Good for off road too. Definately reccomend it!
When you look at them, most baby shops don't have a problem if you try it out to see if it will fit. We made that mistake, i bought a tandem pram and it didn't fit, but they let me exchange it for the Valco luckily.
Good luck! There are alot out there now that are quite compact.

Hello emmajane, congratulations on your pregnancy :) and welcome to bubhub, I am sure you will have lots of fun and great advice in here, sorry can't help with your pram question, I have a large car so never thought about the pram size, good luck with your purchase
When DD was born we only had our 2 door Exel so I know what a pain having a 2 door car is, you do get use to it though. I found our 3 wheeler pram fitted better in the boot because you can detach the frount wheel if needed. It's a mother Choice pram from Target.
