Does anyone either have a very handy mechanic husband I can borrow or know of anyone on the northside who is able to fit the Car restraints bolt things correctly as I have just got Hannah a booster seat and harness and the bolt is not in yet.Plus need them to check the other girls seats to make sure they are done correctly.
Babyco gave me a number for Woden but don't really want to go that far at the moment - will if I really have too -but just being lazy at the moment!!
Oh and hopefully they won't be too expensive!

all fire stations do it for free well maybe not all but most do just give your local station a call

If you bought your booster and harness from a baby store (as opposed to Kmart/BigW/whatever) they will often do it for you.
If you get stuck though, pm me - I'm sure my DH would do it for you. he's always done ours - it's not hard.

I got it from babyco and they just gave me a phn number for a place in Woden.
I just might take you up on the offer if that's all right as I'd like to get this sorted in the quickest cheapest easiest way. Did he actually put the bolt in though?????? or was there already one there?????
Will pm you shortly.
I've always put ours in myself too - they are really very easy!
If Mrs Potts can't help, I'm pretty sure I can :)
Otherwise, I *think* that the mechanic at the top Shell servo in Belconnen (the big one near the markets) will fit child restraints.

Ring Kidsafe in Canberra they can organise someone to come to you & fit it all correctly.

Donna, in our Subaru the bolts are "built in", but in previous/other cars DH has put the bolt in himself.
I'll await your pm :)
