Hi
I am chasing a good push along walker for my 10.5 month old DD.
She is not walking yet but tries to push this toy table along that we have.
I am chasing a walker that if possible I can control the speed somehow without it scooting from underneath her.
Does anyone have any ideas?
Anything will be a great help
Thanks
Hmm, at her age maybe one of those wooden wagons that have blocks in it? Or one that can convert to a ride-on (you can weigh them down by putting heavy stuff under the seat)
Cobey LOVES his Gobble 'n' Go Hippo (Fisher Price, Peekablocks thing) and, from Target, we bought him an "I get around Activity Tree" which still is an endless source of amusment :)

My solution is not ideal but please bear in mind that i am in the African Jungle with very limited resources!
We used a baby dolls pram (with a weight in the front to stop it lifting into the air) Ryan used his "trolley" from about 10 months and he loves it, still.
We bought in South Africa from toys are us, it cost about $10 AUD.
We found that on grass or gravel he could not go too fast. Anything flat and smooth was another story.

My kids have all used a stride to ride walker (fisherprice) and had no problems with it as soon as they were cruising furniture, even tho there is no control over speed, they soon learnt how to control it themselves

Little Tikes have a nice walker, easy to push and very sturdy. In Myer on special right now for $39.95 :)
Ikea sell a little push-cart that you can tighten the wheels on and then loosen them off as bubs gets more confident.

Thanks so much ladies for you help....going to the shops next week so will definately look around
Thanks agian :D
Hey, for our first we got a cheap wooden one from big w, but found it wasnt very sturdy. For number two we found one at a market which was handmade, and is heavy. They both cost the same around the 20.00 dollars mark. Second one is much better, he takes it outside to push, doesnt get away from him. Best let them learn out in the grass first as it does slow it down, and once he learnt to control it himself we let him inside, Now his sister pushes him in it around the house LOL.

I was looking for the exact same thing yesterday. I wanted a walker that turned into a little bike or car though. Big W have one for $50 (fisher price) but I ended up buying a Fisher Price Little People ride on car with a handle on the back that he can walk with from Myer for $40. My son is very close to walking so I didn't want to buy a walker that would only get a couple of months use.
