No one has mentioned the Tennis..!

I am loving it!!
I want Sam to win tonight but I like Hingis as well...ahhhh

And then after the mens Federer V Hass...I think Federer will win

Well you have now DM!

Of all the sports on tv, tennis is the only one that I will actually sit down and watch (probably because I understand the rules etc.) and what a great game it is.

We were lucky enough to get free tickets (through DH's work) to the Medibank International in Sydney a few weeks ago and there is nothing like being there!
We saw Sam Stosur against the young Czech. girl (can't think of her name). Anyway she ended up winning, but we were barracking for Sam!

I really hope Sam wins this one, we need another Aussie tennis star (other than Lleyton). I think Federer will win, he just seems to have that edge over other players at the moment, but I could be wrong.

yes I want sam to win too, but it is looking iffy!

Ohh lucky you I have never been to the Tennis well any major sporting event actually lol

I think Sam is our sentimental favourite, but Martina is playing like she hasn't had 3 years off!!! Trouble for Sam :(

Go Roger BTW, although Tommy looks much better with his shirt off :o

Well Sam played soooo well, but Martina is amazing as we all know, I am happy I like her as well!

I am glad federer won I don't like tommy his on court aggression and anger make me dislike him...

we all like the tennis body lol

Did you see the women's final today? How much do you think those poor people paid to go to the final and see that! I feel sorry for both the girls crap way to win but better than losing I guess!

Am really looking forward to seeing the men's final tomorrow night....Roger should win, but I think Baghdatis will give him a good game......

I missed it as I was sleeping, and thought it was on in the evening :rolleyes: but seems I didn't miss much although I wanted Henin to win and I want bagdatis to won tomorrow!

I'm glad Hingis won the mixed doubles I like her!

I'm a bit torn between who I want to win tonight, I like Federer but I like going for the underdog too!
This might be a stupid question but why does Bagdahtis have a huge greek following when Cyprus isn't even that close (I looked up the map)

Bagdatis Most southern cypriots are greek and speak greek it's very close to Greece you can get a boat to the island :D

hence the huge greek following..I want him to win he has a nice spirit although I do like federer as well so it's hard lol

I still think Federer will win. Don't think 'The Apprentice' is quite up in that league yet, but from what I've seen so far, he's going to give it his best shot.....

How great would it be to be a tennis players wife or girlfriend, you get to travel the world with them watching tennis (m&m I guess you wouldn't enjoy that part) and when you're not watching you can go shopping and spend their millions! Ahh what a life!!!

I admit to going for the underdog too (as much as I love Roger) but to see Roger's acceptance speech (if you could call it that), you had to be thrilled for him. Yay Roger. :D

Well I made it throgh lots os yawns he he not coz I was bored OMg Roger made me cry!!!
I would of liked Marcos towin as well but at the end of the day Roger is an amazing player with a huge heart who plays to win spends the rest of his time working for charity and to me that is what it's all about...What a lovely man :D Plenty of time for young Marcos I mean he is only 20 his future looks incredibly rosey!!

Aghhhh everytime they show Roger winning and his "emotional breakdown" I cry lol what an achievement!
