My little one is just over 7 months old, 2 bottom teeth half way up, getting red cheeks off and on again, generally grizzly and hard to settle to sleep. I suspect more teeth coming. My main concern is that he seems to have gone off his formula! He only wants about 90 ml per feed, but is OK with his 3 small solids meals. So, I've been adding farex and formula to each of his meals to try and get more into him? Can any one enlighten me as to how long they go off their food?

Ds is 7 months too..with his first tooth he was off his bottles for ages.....and only drinking 200-400mls a day/in 24hrs....but would eat his solids...i made sure during this time that i kept up with his solids, so he was getting something...better than not getting anything...i offered his bottle as much as possible...he is just starting to get his 2nd tooth, can see a tiny white dot...and today he has been off his bottles....just go with the flow...it may last a week....DS lasted about 2 weeks i think!!

Goodluck!

My little one is the same - hes has his first two teeth through, very fussy when it comes to bottles (would rather chew the teats rather than drink his formula) but will eat solids no probs. He'll start drinking more of his bottle when his teeth arent an issue pain wise :fingerscrossed:

It's been 2 weeks now...and it still continues. Hopefully a tooth or two will pop through very soon. Thanks ladies...and thanks panadol, bonjela and Brauers...
