What was this pain?

Hi everyone,
Im in need of your expertise again.
Last night i started to get a pain that felt like a constant stitch across the top of my bump right under my ribs, which then radiated down my belly. The pain was worse when i was sitting and standing, but still there when i was laying down. I took panadol, put on a heat pack, then had a warm bath all of which did nothing. It also felt like i couldn't breath properly cos it hurt so much and i was really dizzy and DH said i looked real off colour. Anyway i ended up going to bed 2 hours after it started and woke up today and it is better but my belly is still quite tender.

Does anyone have any idea what this could be?

have you swelling? headaches? spots in front of ur eyes? if you do it would be best to call ur hospitial immediatly, if not maybe call ur dr just to be safe?

I have had the spots infront of my eyes, but thats it. No swelling or bad headaches.

Def pop into the Docs Tan. I had simmilar pain and doc tested me for pre-eclamsia. He said he would have been more worried if I had nausea headaches or any Visual disturbances.

It might be nothing but normal growing pain, but I would be getting checked Just incase. I hope everything is A.O.K and pain eases off soon.

Tan,i would goto the docs or hospital to get checked out,i had pains like this one of them ened up being pre-eclampsia and the other was gallstones,which is what put me in labour this might be what is causing the BH's.

The spots in the eyes is a sign of pre-eclampsia.

i use to get one under my breast and down myside... and it was baby pinching a nerve.... but if seeing spots... maybe is mroe as others are saying...

I went to the dr and he seems to think it is just a virus. My BP is normal and so was urine (no sign of protein). He wasn't my normal dr so i will just keep an eye on it and if it gets worse i will ring the hospital.
