Sorry, still learning :D !
Do you always need to put a waterproof nappy cover over a cloth nappy, or just at nights, or only with certain nappies?
IE) If i were to put a baby beehind bamboo nappy on my bubba during the day, does he also need a cover?
thanks ladies xox
you only need covers with some MCNs
i mainly use pockets, all-in-ones (AIOs) and all-in-twos (AI2s) , none of these require a cover.
i use baby beehinds at night with a cover but if you are changing regularly, they shouldnt need one during the day...
Basically a cover is required if you want to keep your bub's enviroment dry.
So you can use a bamboo beehinds without a cover if you wish - we do in Summer, it's too cold in winter for no cover, cause clothes will get wet.
Basically fitteds need covers.
Pockets can be waterproof or fitted
All In Ones or All in Twos are just that, they don't require a cover.

I'm sorry, I don't want to hijack this thread but, what is an All In Two? What is the difference between that & an All In One?

Hi Dormouse
I've never heard of an all in 2 either, might have to google that one! :detective:

Berry Plush's are AIT because they have an outside shell with the absorbent part snapped in. They can be worn as a cover aswell without the insert over a normal fitted nappy
