Hi I'v just moved here from NZ and trying to find out what playgroups there are around the Southport/Gold Coast area to take my daughter to who will be turning 3 in March. Other than that also looking to meet other parents with a child similar age. I also have a 10 year old at school and my husband works. Anyway if you can help, it would be much appreciated.

Hello aishaboo, I've just moved to the Gold Coast myself and have a daughter who will be 3 in November (plays well with older children though!) I've found a couple of playgroups near Bundall, if that's close to you, and I'll be checking them out this week.

I'll be there tomorrow with my 2 year old daughter. Look for the new dad if you want to say hi
Sure, be good to meet you :) And sounds like your friend has her hands full and will need her playgroup days to keep her sane! Just wait until the twins are crawling, there's a similar gap between my twin brother and I and our older sister, once we started crawling it was HER that needed the playpen! "They're getting me!" :crying: :p
No, I'm a Get-Out-Of-The-House-Before-I-Climb-The-Walls-Dad... but yes.
And it's great, love the job.

aishaboo,
There is a playgroup at Southport Primary School on Wednesday mornings from 9.30-11.30 am which might be handy for you if you are in Southport. I've been taking my 8 month old (there are quite a few older kids though) and everyone is really friendly. :ecomcity:
Let me know if you want more details.
