I'll go first!

My alias is tiptoe. I am 23years old, i have been married to my DH who is 26years old since Jan 03 and we welcomed to the world our first child, a son called Aaron (affectionately nicknamed Freddy or Bumface) in March 2004, proving to those we knew back then that it was NOT a shotgun wedding :p.

Yes if you do the math i was 19 when i got married, i was engaged before i turned 18 (before i finished my HSC) and I was 20 when i had my son, making me a young mummy :D.

I wear glasses or contacts, i have dark blond hair and blue eyes and am one packet of TimTams away from being overweight, but i don't care!

other than that, im average height and everything else, and am only now coming to the realisation of how much weight im going to have once ive got a bub!

Righteo!

My name is Lis, i'm 22 and am married to my wonderful Husband, Andrew (23) and am mother to beautiful little Holly (10months).

DH and I met around March 2004, started seeing each other in June 2004, we moved in together with a couple of mutal friends in November 2004 and were engaged in December 2004 (OMG it all happened so quickly!) to be married in February 2006.

We bought a house together in November 2005 and fell pregnant with DD in December. She was a very welcomed surprise! We had not been actively trying for a baby but at the same time, weren't doing anything to stop it, we would have liked a baby but didn't expect it to happen so soon as I was told it would take utp 6months to fall pregnant after coming off the pill, it happened pretty much straight away, which was a lovely surprise!

We then went on to be married in February 2006, I was 11weeks pregnant at the time and we made the announcement to family and friends at our reception (my mother and MIL already knew).

We started TTC #2 in December 2006 when DD was 3.5months old and finally, after 6months of trying, here we are, due for #2 in January!

That's pretty much our lives together in a nutshell LoL

hahahahaha just kidding!!

My alias is Widget. Met DF after a year of living with my Mum in Sydney and we hit it off straight away... We moved out the week before our 2 year anniversary... 3 months later we found out we were expecting our first bub, from the shock my DR said it didn't look like I wanted it (I thought I had cancer which is why I went to the Drs)... EDD was 14/02/04. After many discussions on the topic (we had a week) the other half convinced me it would be best to terminate as we weren't "ready" and he said we would save and get married then have children - we both wanted to be married first... He was also not ready in the head and we would have ended up breaking up... He made me the biggest hypocrite on the planet...
So, we had the abortion and continued on with life in our new home... We went away on Holidays for the EDD as I just couldn't bare to be in Sydney for it... So we then made Feb our Holiday time...

Life went on and we were having a few dramas financially and emotionally and we discussed the possibility of "taking a break" and he asked for 1 month and if things weren't better he would leave... That happened to be the month I couldn't afford to get the pill filled... What do you know... I was preggers with DD aka Miss A.

Had quite a few dramas when she was born and decided it would be best to be pregnant with #2 before we got the results of her MRI at 10 months... (May 07) So we started trying in Dec 06 when she was 4 1/2 months old.

Her MRI was moved forward to March and we were told she would most likely need surgery on her spinal cord.

The week we got the date for her surgery was the same week we found out that we had to move house - the landlords gave us 60 days notice... The letters were a day apart

So we decided that April would be a bust for us with all the stress and pressure of DD's surgery and finding a new place to live...

AF was due the day before she went in for surgery... 2 days before her surgery I had some pains which I assumed were late ovulation so I didn't expect AF while in hospy which was good...

Came down with something in hospital with DD the weekend before we got discharged and was taking severe strength cold & flu tabs to try and kick the cough...

Says to take with food if prone to nausea - which I'm not, so after throwing up a few times I got DF to buy a preg test and BAM BFP - but I'd heard the pregnosis has a reputation for giving false positives so I bought another brand - confirm... never heard of it before so didn't believe it's BFP either... Finally managed to get the funds together to buy the same test I used with DD - BFP - OMG I'm freaking pregnant!! It wasn't supposed to happen that month so I'd been drinking on weekends while in chat with the July06 mummas and taking nurofen for the stupid headaches!!!

So yeah - here I am... Due in Jan 08 there will be an 18 month gap between bubbas and I go back to work this coming Monday - 2nd July 07...

Oh yeah... DF proposed when I was 3-4 months preggers the day before my Dad's 50th!!

Still waiting for the big day but I'm not going to rush it anymore...

Okay, I got called away not long after I started this so I know there's lots of responses and now my short version would probably have been taken seriously!!

I seem to only post in the random threads and not in the long-running Due In Jan 08 threads, so many wouldnt know me/my story.
Im 23, DP 27, DD 19 months.
Um, meet DP in Oct 2004 - I was the manager, he was the security guard, I thought he had a nice bum - the rest is history!
Our beautiful DD was conceived after we had been together 4 months - lots of discussions as to whether to keep her or not - actually had an appointment to terminate but at the last minute we decided we couldnt - she was born Nov 05 and continues to light up our lives!
We have lived together and lived apart due to many circumstances - work, relationship etc etc, currently living southside Brisbane but who knows for how long! We announced our engagement June 07, no wedding plans any time soon!
I am now studying my B Nursing/Midwifery, nearly finished whilst working part time as a personal trainer/fitness instructor. DP still works in security and is also a PT.
Not much else - blonde hair/green eyes, average height/weight. Love entertaining and cooking, working out (to negate the entertaining and cooking!) and spending time with my immediate and extended family.

My name is Michelle. I'm 31 and DH is 35. We have been married for 8.5 years and have 2 DS's, 5 & 3.

My first pg took 1.5 yrs ttc but otherwise very text book.

Second pg took 4 months ttc and was also pretty normal until I was hospitalised at 27 weeks with about 20 blood clots in my knee (bloody painful - couldn't walk). I was on daily blood thinning injections, given to me by DH until 38 weeks, then 2 days later, more clots so I was induced and the birth was 2.5 hours. Spent 8 days in hosp and 5 blood transfusions.

Third pregnancy ended at six weeks and spent my 31st birthday in the emergency room, losing more blood than I thought was humanly possible.

Now I'm on my 4th pg (due 4th Jan) and just had my 12 wk scan. Everything looking good so far and morning sickness has really eased.
I've already had 1 blood clot in my knee this pg, at 10 wks, and on daily aspirin with a view to going back on injections if it gets worse - Aspirin is working for now.

Blondish hair, blue eyes. I am 171cm tall and usually weigh about 62kg but I have a bad habit of putting on way too much weight in preg - have had to lose 20kg after both DS's - am currently sitting on 70kg but have started craving fruit which might help the weight gain slow down a little.

Hi most of you know me as I post a bit.

My name is Sarah and I'm 21 hubby paul 22,23 on wednesday. We have been together since I was 17. I had a very eventful childhood running away at the ripe old age of 13 and living with my grandparents etc. So when I met hubby I was fresh out of a relationship 2.5 weeks to be exact and wasn't really looking for anything serious just some fun.
We moved in together about a month after we started together much to everyones discust but we proved them wrong. He was an apprentice carpenter and I was doing year 12. I then picked up a chef apprenticeship.

We Have both qualified and been together 4.5yrs. We also own our own cafe at the mo. although we have considered selling due to health related issues and the bub. And hubby works for his pairs. We have been married since January and were engaged for 1.5yrs before that. So Just to prove everyone wrong you can meet someone young and be happy. Sure we have our problems but doesn't everyone.

We are now expecting our first child, Which we are a little scared about. In December I had my first lot of CN3 cells removed from my cervix. The first day we were allowed to have sex again was our wedding night so it was kind of special. In march I was diagnosed with CN3 cells present again which I was all booked in to have removed again. However that same week we found out that we were expecting. We didn't quite believe it to start with so after9 preg tests it became real. Now it's just a waiting game.

This is a great thread...

My name is Priscilla and I'm 31... DH is 32 and we've been together for 13.5 years...

After about 7 years we moved in together and then got engaged and we married 9.5 years after our first kiss, that was in January 2004... DS was born in May 2005...

In December last year, we found out we were expecting #2 and told everyone Christmas day, but unfortunately we lost bubs on the 23rd January - the day before our wedding anniversary...

In May we found out we were expecting again and everything is going well so far, due 4th January 2008...

All 3 pregnancies were in the first month of TTC, well actually, with this bubs, we weren't going to officially start TTC until May, but bubs had other ideas... So we consider ourselves very lucky not to have problems conceiving...

I'm an Information Analyst for one of Melbourne's Health Networks and DH is a Salesman and also a stand-up comic... so life is never dull...

Wow these stories are great, mine will seem average!
My name is kate, i am 25 and my hubby and i married in jan 05 after only four months he proposed, we had a lovely beach wedding and i wanted babies ASAP (yesterday!)
It took us a year of trying and lots of tears! so we saw a local chinese medicine and acupuncturist who after three months helped us to fall pregnant!
Three days before we were going to go to an infertility doctor to get sperm counts and all that fun stuff done i was walking through the shopping centre and started crying for no reason. i thought this wasnt like me so i did a test and cancelled that expensive specialist appointment!:smiliedance:
So here i am 12 weeks still emotional but so happy that all works well. Im the first in my group of partying friends to fall so its a little lonely as my bestie asked the other day "why do you have to breastfeed its gross?" and "just bring the baby out to the clubs with us!" i dont think they quite understand the responsibility yet but i think im pretty well cut out for the job...Ive been a full time nanny for 7 years now so apart from the lack of a full nights sleep i will need to get used to,i can get newborns into routines pretty well. :fingerscrossed:
Im starting the nursery this week and cant wait to find out if its pink or blue, i want five all up if we can comfortably afford it but i may take that back if i end up with four boys!

Ok, my name is Rachael, my dh is is Charlie i am 24 and he is 26. We live in Adelaide SA with our four beautiful little boys, Rylen 3.5, Kyen 2.5, Jett and Isaiah 5 months. And our Boxer baby Roxy and we will be getting another next week who dh has named Judd. We have been together for 5 and a half years but married almost 8 months.
Dh works as a production worker for an electrical company but right now he's on work cover due to a car accident 2 weeks ago so he's off work til they clear him to go back. Before i got pregnant with ds1 i was a fulltime receptionist for a popular food and grocery wholesaler and a part time dance teacher as i have danced all my life and moved onto teaching later on and while i was pregnant with ds1. I fell pregnant with ds1 when i was 20 and gave birth to him in Sept 2003, just 5 weeks after my 21st birthday. When ds1 was about 3 months old we started talking about another baby and found out we were pregnant with ds2 and my edd was 21/1/2005, he was born 17/01/2005. After about a year we started thinking it was time to complete our family and started ttc'ing again and found out we pregnant and due 27/2/2007, i had extreme nausea and morning sickness and soon enough at my 12 week ultrasound discovered we were having twins which was a massive shock to both of us. We were married on the beach in November 2006 when i was 27 weeks pregnant with the twins, we had an awesome day but it was over 40 degrees and very hot lol.
I was put in hospital at 35 weeks for high bp which developed to PE and the twins were delivered at 36 weeks exactly by VB.
I had a hard time after the birth and had PPH and required 3 blood transfusions as my platelets were so low that they wanted to give me more but i refused. Jett and Isaiah stayed in the special care nursery for two weeks due to feeding issues but finally came off their tubes the day before we bought them home and they have been awesome babies and have put on weight well and slept through the night wince they were 5 weeks old which is a great help with the other kids too!!

In feb this year we made the first moves to purchase our own home and by May 4th we had settled we were in our own home finally!! I had started feeling a bit quesy while moving but put it down to being tired because of the move but two weeks later when AF didnt arrive i knew something was definately up. I did a HPT and a faint line came up and of course dh and i were in shock and he was not happy. He actually swore me to secrecy for three weeks and refused to talk about it. I have no idea what happeend but all of a sudden he started getting excited and then wanted to tell family. I have had my first OB appt and my 12 week u/s has been scheduled for July 17th which will make me just over 13 weeks and i am hoping to see only one baby this time lol. As of now according to my LMP my edd is 20/1/2008 but that could change when i have my u/sound so i guess we'll see soon enough!!

Anyway i've bored you all enough time to go make lunch for the kiddies
