What is this 6.30 change on ch 10???

Hi,

I was wondering if anyone knew or had any ideas about what the 6.30pm change is going to be on ch 10 on July 23rd??? My DH keeps joking they are axing neighbours which would be destroying :gloomy:
Maybe someone knows something!!!

Wasnt it mentioned on here a while back that it had something to do with high definition or how they were going to film neighbours? I think thats right

Also, there was report a few weeks ago that they are going to back to the 'old days' in the way that they are going back to basics with storylines - no more of this far out unbelievable kidnapping/psychos on every corner/ridiculously unlikely sort of storylines. More families and normal type situations.

Thank god - I'm so sick of the H&A type stuff Neighbours have been doing to try to keep up.

I think that probably some of the oldies move out, and some newies move in...going on the ad I saw last night anyhoo.

God I hope so, Neighbours is getting ridiculous. H & A isn't far off it either. I usually dont watch Bi g Brother, but it's been getting my attention instead these days!

I read in the Tv week magazine that it is not getting axed, its getting a facelift, a new family will be moving in, and then it just says stay tuned for more exciting changes!

Oh that's a relief. I way preferred the old neighbours style. So many of the storylines are getting very far out.

With my twins on the way I was hoping they weren't moving it to a later time slot as I reckon I'll be lucky to still be awake at 7pm, :rolleyes: :sleeping: .

Phew..what a relief. I don't know what I would do without my Neighbours fix every night. And I'm sooooooo glad they're going back to the old family-based story lines, it really was getting very ridiculous. Let's hope they don't axe Toadie though, he's my fave!

PHEW! Was going to ask this myself LOL, that new ad gave me chills up my spine... madge dying was to me definately THE best filmed/acted scene ever to date on Neighbours i bawled my eyes out that night. :laughing:

Good to hear going back to basics too, H&A i stopped watching two years ago, just got friggen ridiculous, and Neighbours is not far off. I even say to Dp , man i wish i lived down a street that happening. LOL!

Can't wait until the new neighbours starts.. how exciting, yet how sad of me, @ 29 you would think i would be over it.... NEVER!

* Rosie and Frazer marry on location, walking down the aisle together. Their wedding was the first episode recorded in HD, so I'm guessing it's July 23rd ("a change is coming" - dum dum dum!).

* Janelle and Steiger have the street wedding. At the end, the lead singer of Sherbet turns up to surprise Janelle, and she faints with shock! Steiger and Janelle are whisked off in a helicopter, in true Janelle style, to start their lives together.

* Libby is indeed returning, as a result of some horrific trouble that Susan gets into. As far as I understand it, her return isn't intended to be a guest spot, and they are trying to get Darren back for some of that (I can't vouch 100% for the contractual stuff there).

* Valda is returning this year, as is Stonie.

* The Parker family are moving into number 26 - the father is the elder brother of Ned and Stuart.

* The Parker family, Ned and Janae have been filming scenes running out of a hospital (well, the Global Studios doors with big 'Hospital' signs, anyway).

* There is a little building on the studio site that is now in use, and is currently being used for a number of interior and exterior sets.

* Someone is moving into number 24 with Lou and Harold this year (don't know who, sorry), and Lou is set to have a love interest - no idea if it's Valda or not but I damn well hope so. (Can't vouch 100% for the love interest bit.)

* Fiona Corke is only doing one stint this year. (Obviously, that could change, but at the moment she's only done those two weeks that are coming up.)

* A very serious incident will utterly divide the Kennedys and Parkers - who were initially getting on very well.

* One of the new kids at Number 26 starts shoplifting at a local store (not at Lassiters).
