have i done to my boys do you think ??

when they were little i had them both in terry flats and pvc covers - at home they would mainly have no covers .. so i 'd say 50/50 covers to no covers ..

do you think i have done any damage - just reading some sights about the pvc and how damaging it can be to boys ... :confused:

I honestly wouldn't freak .. most of the men of my generation (and women) would have been raised in terry flats with PVC covers (they were the only things available! ..

I still think its better than a sposie and all the bits that you have in there .. chemical wise ..

Hmm, I wouldn't stress too much either...mum had my brother (and me) in terry flats with PVC pilchers and I don't think it did him any harm, after all he has a gorgeous son, after only TTC for a few weeks :)

From what I read, the potential problem is with chemicals called 'phthalates' which can subtly reduce testosterone production in infant boys - but these chemicals can also be found in PVC flooring, children's toys, detergents, cosmetics and food packaging. So potentially even just wearing makeup, washing up and washing your hair could expose your baby to these chemicals in utero or afterwards? and we all do that, well most of us do anyway.

So what I'm trying to say is, I wouldn't beat yourself up over using PVC covers when you did. Don't stress :hugs:.

I wouldn't stress it either. Terry flats even with PVC covers, would still I think be cooler than sposies. And we all wore them as littlies, and we have 4 kidlets :D

I know my brothers were in pvc piltchers there whole nappy time and they are spittling out babies left right and centre....
