Summer has fallen asleep in the middle of the lounge room floor now I am in a dilemma. Do I leave her there? Or should I take her to her bed? She hasn't had a sleep all day and has been cranky, I know if I move her she'll wake up straight away.
What would you do? Let her sleep or move her and hope she'll go back to sleep?
If you think she will stay asleep with the ongoings around her I would throw a blanket over her and leave her otherwise if you think you could scoop her up and just settle her for a few minutes back in her own bed she may sleep better and longer ( I would only try her own bed if you think you will get her back to sleep though) sorry, not really an answer

Hi Krissy
I'd leave her there as long as she's not in the way and just put a blanket over her.

oh i hate it when that happens, tbh, if DS falls asleep anytime after 5pm i give him 20 minutes and wake him up. He simply will not go back to sleep later on if i just let him sleep and he doesnt sleep through if i leave him.
it's a toughy!
Many a time I woke on the couch or on the floor, telly off, dark room, silence except for the clock tick - and with a blanket over me and a pillow beside. (I remember this from the ages of 5 - now :p)

Ronan used to have his morning nap under the dining table, every time
These days, I have to get the kids to last until their bedtime at 6.30pm (although Ariene has a day sleep from 11am-2pm also). If they drop off at around the 5pm mark, I really need to wake them gently and spend time reading/bathing them etc to get them through to close enough to their bedtime
