Looks like they are getting lots of rain in the UK too, just seen floods in Sheffield and Leeds.

Havent been on for a while, hope you all you UK peeps are doing well.

saw it on the news in sth yorkshire.. my dad and his family all live in nth yorkshire so i gasped when i saw it.. all my mum could say was
"damn shame it wasnt the other end ":laughing:

OK it's been 24-26C the past 6 weeks non stop, this week bit cloudy in London, up north is bad the rest of the country is rocking a good one!

It's cloudy but very humid!

My folks are up in Hull, Mums garden is under a foot of water, (she is in Portugal on hollies), the roads are totally flooded, and there have been 4 people killed! :(

Yikes! AND it was just 16c the other day..... not good!

Hearing about all the bad weather in the UK makes my heart warm :p It's generally cold (3c) at night and early morning but by early afternoon things have warmed up. We are middle of winter in Adelaide and I didn't wear a jacket today :eek: Wouldn't get that in UK :no:

this has been the worst summer in england i can remember. boo hoo. i'm pale and pastey, i'm coming over there if it does'nt last.

OK so whats with the weather in the UK !!!! :eek: A Monsoon for goodness sake :rain: Spoke to parents on Skype tonight and they told me all about it and even showed me some newspaper headlines/pics of London at a standstill. Middle of the day and water up to the middle of the tires and car lights on. M5 at a standstill and part of the road broke away!!

So how are all you UK bound ladies? I have to be honest and say I'm glad I'm not over there myself. :no:

have spent the weekend trying to find out if our house in Newbury is flooded, our friend who is renting it at the moment is away, havent been able to get my friends on the phone to ask them because they have no electricity and another friend is up to her waste in water. My mum managed to get hold of my other friend and her dh will go and check it out, hoping because its on a hill it will be ok.
So with losing my job on friday and worrying all w/end about my little house have had a **** time.
Oh and my mobile died, how did we ever survive without them!!!!!

We contacted several of our friends in UK to check how they were and none of them were seriously affected, in fact one of them was quite chuffed he got to use his 4x4 to best effect. :thumbsup:

Apparently Tewkesbury is an island and they're worried about Oxford. They're going to close the Thames Barrier to stop the tide coming up and making it worse.

Finally got my friend to go around and my house is fine, some of my other friends not so lucky though.
