Whoops - too many nappies???

I finally caught up on all my folding today and put all the nappies away - i have 2 full nappy stackers, a full basket plus a dirty bucket full. I counted the clean ones, and there is 36 :eek: plus one each on Ds & DD add to that the ones in the bucket and i think i have 40+ nappies. I think this obsession has gone overboard. Not to mention i have 2 more coming from buy for baby & 3 magic alls on pre-order. :laughing:

DD went most of last week in undies too (but the got the runs - so back to nappies for now) The way things are going she is going to be TT and i will have close to 50nappies. ooh i probably have that now - there are about 10 that DS has outgrown that i have to get ready to sell. Thanks for the introduction to the obsession!!

Ha ha Tan! I know how you feel! I dont have THAT many but i have about 20!!! I've only been doing this for a month!!

Oh and as for the ones you bought from buyforbaby ?????? I wanted them!!!! They are the fruitsalads right??? I wanted that cow print! LOL.

I have about 35 mcn. I thought that was too many, but you always need some extras to get thru the rainy weather.

Mmmm actually I don't think you can have too many :laughing:. There are a lot worse things you could be obsessed with!

I haven't counted lately but I have atleast 40 and only ONE bottom to cover.

Just think- the more you have, the less wear and tear to each nappy due to slower rotation etc :)

Mine fall apart because they are worn as soon as they are dry... so every day! Even my terry flats are looking threadbare. My hemparoo's are nearly transparent they are that thin. And I have no print pul pockets left because I got them first (8+ months ago) and they have a shorter lifespan. Plan pul and quality fitteds for me from now on! (and I really want some Canningvale flats..)

I am jealous of you all, I only have 16 so far... and yesterday I actually had to use a disposable as I had most of them on the line when it rained!!

:o i counted my terry flats over the weekend and i have nearly 70 - (67 to be exact) i also have about 14 halves (i cut some of the older ones in half) that i use for boosting. i have a 3 kissaluvs and 4 cheapy fitteds and 5 other mcns that i don't use much. i also have 4 bummis covers and about 6 various other ones.

oh and i am knitting a few soaker/longies atm:o

:eek: :eek: WOW - I don't feel like so much of an obsessed frak now - thanks girls. I am normal after all. Gives me the perfect excuse to buy more now.

Tan - i missed the cow fruit salad but did get a few others from that seller - including a nice pink stripey fruit salad!! If Charli ever toilet trains you can have first dibs on that for your DD2.

We were about to resort to a disposable for last night but then...wait...remembered a GK anytimes pocket that was still clean. Worked fine too :thumbsup:

:yes: I'll freely admit that I definitely have more nappies than I 'need'. I'm too embarrassed to even count, I know there's at least 40, probably more...even though we live in a unit and I have to dry on a rack which takes aaaages, it's still rare that I ever run out. TBH I should probably sell some off, but then I remind myself I'm planning another bub within the next 12 months :fingerscrossed:. so I can sort of justify hanging onto them! :o
