...but in the meantime, for you or anyone else: MCN= Modern Cloth Nappy.

-Absorbant 'fitted nappies' that use a seperate cover over the top, made from hemp/cotton, bamboo/cotton or just cotton, in velour, terry, fleece ect.

-Cute and colourful 'pocket nappies' that have the cover built-in but need an absorbant insert

-And 'all-in-ones' or 'all-in-two's'.

The sticky's are great for information. To check out some pics to see what these nappies look like, how they work and what's available, google for webstores such as Nuture Nappies, The Wee Wuns and Darlings Downunder. There are many many others too- bubhub has a pretty extensive list somewhere too.

If you can't be bothered reading other threads to extract the info you need:

PUL is a laminated breathable but (almost) waterproof material used in nappies or as covers.

Booster is extra material such as hemp, bamboo or even a face washer that you use for extra absorbency, sometimes for overnight.

HTH but the stickies in the cloth section will give you a good understanding and you can decide from there if you want to join the clothie gang! :fingerscrossed:
