I'm Having a BOY!!!!!!!!!!!!

I'm in total shock. I was 99.999% certain this was another girl. I could picture my 3 girls together. DH was sure it was a boy but who listens to DH's? CRIKEY! Are boys very different? Why am I freaking out about it? I don't like teenage boys - will I like my own son? This is so silly but I feel really weird about having a son - will I love him the same as I love my girls? Is it just the shock talking? I really didn't even consider that this one was a boy. He's healthy and perfect and looked really cute on the scan - ooohhh as I typed this I just realised...I'm having a SON. A beautiful boy baby. I'm crying now. Oh Thank You Baby Gods THANKYOU THANKYOU THANKYOU. I'm having a beautiful baby boy. I think I could bust with happiness.

Well Done sams brood, boys are smelly and grow to be really big but they are loving and beautiful. I am on my thrid now you will love him.

And I know you have prpbably worked this out already - but regarding your comment on will you love him as much as your girls . . . I have had a friend say this exact thing on being afraid to have another child incase she had a boy - but may I just remind you . . . you never run out of love!
Enjoy your little boy, he will bring a lot of fun to your home and keep those girls on thier toes!!

Aw congratulations! You sound stoked!

I remember feeling like that when I found out DS was a boy, it was so exciting to not only be having a baby but one that was going to be so different from raising the girl we already had.

And yes....boys are VERY different! Mine is only nine months old and already DH and I notice how different boys and girls are. Boys are lots of fun! (and so are girls of course but in a different way!) :)
