DH gave me a green light to buy more nappies!!! (well, I did buy a little bit before he gave me permission but we won't tell him that :D ) I have recently purchased:

A dozen Canningvale flat nappies
Tots Bots bamboozles YAY!
Tots Bots Strawberries PUL cover
Cherub's Kiss Honey Boy custom made

Now I'm going to splurge a bit more :p And before anyone gives me a disapproving look I'm telling you I don't have a lot in my stash - I only have 15 Tots Bots fitted nappies which half of them almost are too small for DD. I make a list of the items I want to try but need advice from more experienced cloth advocates before sending DH broke. I think I'm going to get at least another 2 nappies, one for daytime and one for nighttime.

Sandra's Stuffables pocket nappies - I never tried pocket nappies so don't know how good they are. Two choices of One Size & Side Snap, which one is better? There're also 4 different types of fabric and I'm not sure which suits DD.

Edited to add DD has eczema and nappy rash prone. Her nappy area seems to recover from thrush so I want to be careful when choosing fabric that non-irritant.
I'd rather not have hemp nappies or it to touch DD's bottom directly (hemp concealed should be fine).

Ella's House Bumhugger - The outer is hemp so I'm not sure if it's ok but want to know if it's really good for nighttime use.

Very Baby Simply Night - It's very popular at Nappycino, has anybody here tried them?

Green Nappies Dreamytime - These nappies are going to be discontinued (don't know why) so I kind of want to grab one of them before they're sold out.

Any advice or recommendation would be great :)

Forgot to give more details... DD is a heavy wetter and 5.9kg so a good fit and well absorbent nappy would be great.

Ive been told Greens are good but im not much help as im still awaiting my order & trying to be patient  otherwise im getting Sandra's also as again ive been told they are great !
Everyone keeps saying to only buy a few until you find the "right" one so to speak so really i would try & only get a few of different brands till you work out what right.
But you do have the problem of it being addictive :p
Good luck :)

Sandra lives in my town and I have meet her before she is sooo nice and very accommating so may talk to her about DD's nappy rash problems and I'm sure she will help you. She is about to reopen her store and I'm currently saving my pennies to get some. I have a side snap and a aplix one. I like both so dont have a preference. Her nappies are on of the best pockets going around, so enjoy.

Never heard of them so can't comment

Also saving for one of these. Have only heard good reports about them so can't wait to try them.

Didn't know they are going to be discontinued, might have to snap up a few more. I have two of these and are my fav for night time (these and my Baby beehinds hemp honey) I love the softness and they work so well.

Any advice or recommendation would be great :)
Don't be afraid of pockets I have mostly pockets and love them for the reason I can boost them to what I want. ie if staying home, not very much boosting. If going out can boost more. I also love the drying time which is very quick. The hemp will be inside the nappy so none of it touches bubs skin.
Good luck with it and wish my hubby would lift my nappy buying ban. Again he doesn't know I'm saving to buy a few more LOL

Personally I have bought 5 ezy nappies and find they are pretty good. You can check them out at www.ezynappy.com.au. PM me if you want more details.

Sandra's Stuffables
I personally prefer to use the side snaps because DS (21months) can't undo them unlike the aplix fastening ones. I also find the side snaps to provide a better fit with more adjustability if the thigh and waist aren't in proportion. I haven't checked there recently so don't know what the fabric choices are now. I've got the cotton print PUL purely because I like the cuteness factor. The only problem with cotton PUL over poly PUL is that cotton can tend to wick if the stuffing is really wet.

Ella's House Bumhugger
I'm not a fan of these because they are just not absorbant enough for my heavy wetter. The main problem with extra boosting in these is, because of the inner layer of fleece, you can't add an extra fleece liner on top of your boosting which means bub would have wet fabric next to the skin (unless you boosted on the outside). They also come up rather high (rise I think the term is) so on DS they ended up near his armpits.

Very Baby Simply Night
I don't own one myself but do have some of Lori's other nappies (Erica's) which are fabulous. I have seen a VB and it is very trim for a night nappy. I especially like how narrow it is in the crotch area so you don't end up with the legs at right angles from all the boosting.

Green Nappies Dreamytime
I'm not sure what sort of Green Nappy I have so can't comment specifically on the 'Dreamytime'. The quality of the workmanship is excellent and it is a very trim nappy.

Just received the Canningvale terry nappies today, they're fabulous! Just need to practice on folding flat terries atm :D

Thanks for all comments ladies, I've narrowed down the choices. I think Ella's house bumhugger is out because not many people have it so I'm not going to risk buying it.

Sandra's stuffables pocket- need to make a decision about fabric first.

Now I'm torn between Very Baby & Greennappies Dreamytime...mmm...they both seem very good.

Oh, does anyone have Fuzzibunz (sp?)? I heard they're good as well.

Keep the comments coming ladies :)

VB and Green Nappies are both very good in their own way. I say go for the Green Nappy because once you try the convenience of pockets, you won't want to go back! :p

I've got lots of Fuzzi Bunz because they were the only pockets around when I started my nappy addiction. They are not my favourite and I think they are not the best value for money either since they are imported. The snaps are good because DS can't undo them but I find the fit to be the most ordinary of all my pockets. For us, even though they are a well constructed nappy, I wouldn't have purchased so many if I had more options back then.
