i seriously need a smoke, why is quitting so hard, and going back to nasty habbits so easy?????
but i will try and stick to it. it cant get any worse can it?

I really recommend the book... the easy way to stop smoking by Allen Carr.
Its about $20 and you can get it at most bookshops.
It is not a scare tactic. Its does not go into the health side of things. just a whole new perspective of looking at things.
Really, you should give it a go. He also recommends to continue smoking while reading the book. Goes through the steps until your very last cigarette. Give it a go. Can only help you
When I had given up (mind you I have started again) I started cleaning and I mean everything that could possibly be cleaned.
I think I washed all of our clothes (not just the dirty ones), everything in the wardrobes, curtains, doona's, pillows. So glad I wasn't paying for water then.
I also liked to cross stitch and could never do that and smoke.
But it did help. Is there something you can do.

lol, i'm am going to livo tomorrow, so i'll have to check my bank account and see if i can find the book. altho i figure that if by tmorrow i still havent had a smoke, then i might just see how i can go at doing it on my own.
night time when the kids are in bed is when i smoke the most. so if i can get over tonight without going insane then i think i will do ok tomorrow night

You are doing really well
I havent had a cigarette since May 2002. I found eating apples and chewing gum or chupa chups worked for me. When ever I felt I wanted to light up I would have one of them.
Good luck .......YOU CAN DO IT :) :yelclap: :smiliedance:

I posted about this earlier.....I'm sounding like a broken record lol.
I gave up smoking 2 months ago on the Zyban tablets. I had no cravings what so ever. Only thing is that you need a perscription from your doctor for them. You get 2 weeks worth in the first lot which they recommend that you smoke during the 1st week of taking them. Set a date in your 2nd week and don't look back. You have to go back to the doc in the 2nd week to get the rest of the tablets which will be 90 tablets. The programme is about 9 weeks in total.

You can't take Zyban whilst BF. I couldn't anyway as it gave me hives.....
