Hi, Mark and I (Lily) are a loving couple who are desperately trying to conceive our first child. After several failed attempts (my last only producing 1 egg that failed to fertilise) we have been told that due to my premature menopause, a donor egg is now our only chance. One of my close girlfriends have offered to donate but as she is almost 40 my clinic have said she is too old.
Although a Perth donor would be fantastic we would also be more than happy to consider an interstate donor. All expenses will be covered.
If you are aged under 35 and think you can help us achieve this dream please contact us on lilymark1@hotmail.com or you can contact Hollywood Fertility Centre on 08 9389 4200 and mention our names.
With many thanks
:)
Hi Lily...
Just thought I'd stop by and see how your search was going.
It's really worth poking your head into some of the general chat threads too, so that potential donors can get to know a bit more about you!

Hi Roxy
Thanks for your reply, I am very new to this so any advice you have is greatfully accepted. We have only just started advertising, so fingers crossed that there is someone special out there for us.

Can anyone please enlighten me on what an egg donor has to go thru in order to donate? Also is it preferred that you have finished your family or can you be in the middle. What criteria do you need to fit?
Thanks
Hi Cheezelz...
There are some great stickies in the top of the egg donation threads that will give you some really great information.....
If you have any questions after reading through them, fire away!
Lily - how is your search going?

Hi Roxy, thanks for asking no luck yet but replies from a couple of lovely people offering support and encouragement. We are still hopefull though. Have been thinking of advertising in other areas such as the community newspaper, any suggestions?
I have heard of ladies having some really good success in putting up a notice on their community noticeboards at their locals shops, Lily....
Also, have you joined up at the Aussie Egg Donors site yet? After you have been a member for about a month and have contributed a little to the site (chat wise, not $$ wise!) you can also place an ad there.....

Hi everyone, just a quick update. I have had an email from a potential donor which was such an emotional moment. Unfortunatley my replies to her email address keep failing and I have been unable to contact her, so as you can imagine I am feeling very stressed about this. If you are that amazing lady please can you try contacting me through my private messages. Thank you so much and I hope to hear from you soon.:)
