I have an 8 week old girl and after experiencing so many leakages with using flanelette nappies with plastic snibs, Ive said bye bye to them and have switched to terri towel. This is also following advice from mum. Since, switching, I havent had one wet suit through the night, even after babies amazing 7 hour naps! They do look a bit bigger but theyre pretty easy to put on. No more runny poo down the legs / outfit

Can't go wrong with the old terrys
We used them for the first few months with no problems.
Even still use them now and Hannah is 9 months.
Definitly a good investments.

Same here! Ariene is 13.5 months and I just love how easy it is to change a terry and then pop on a pair of lush, lanolised knitted longies....

I had so many probs containing Ronan's leaks with snibs.. they were great for a while, but if I had known about PUL covers back then, I would have ditched them (and yucky pvc piltchers) in favour of a Motherease Airflow or Bummis for sure. Gotta love hindsight!

Oooh, nothing better than wrapping a freshly washed fluffy flat around them, the covering with your fave pair of woollies!

Pookie Ive googled those nappie covers and they seem to be a great idea! Might get some on ebay. Just tossing between bummis and motherease brands. The motherease seems to be a bit more dearer. I noticed the bright bots brand too.
They all seem to do the same thing!

I think I will take advantage of the sun as much as I can, seems to be the best thing. Might give bio-zet a go on the terries too. Havent tried vinegar yet although Ive heard about it. Thanks guys:)

Which terry towel nappies are best to buy or are all brands much the same?

That's great! Don't know about Bright Bots though- are they pul or pvc? The cost doesn't matter when it's a cover that lasts being washed daily for about 2 years! My ME airflow is constantly used- on both kids. It's fantastic.

Id love to get my hands on some Canningvale terry flats, they are apparently much softer/fluffier and thicker/more absorbant then your standard Dri-Glow/Big W/K mart brands.

And even better- bamboo flats! Nuture Nappies were selling these last time I checked. THey would be sooo soft (wouldn't go crunchy) and much more absorbant. A little slower drying, but hey, it's a terry flat, they're the fastest-drying nappy out there!! :D
