View Full Version : Dry Night Last Night!!!
Well as you may or may not know, I've been having problems with keeping the boys dry over night.
Well this morning they are both dry!! What did I do??
I put a BBH Bamboo with the long snapin at the front.. underneath a (don't shoot) disposable. :o
ONLY thing which has worked so far!!!!!
each on their own leak... together, dry! YAY. I can go out today and not wash sheets!!
That's fantastic! In the end you've got to do whatever works for you.
Enjoy your morning off washing the sheets. :D
Woohoo :D That's great! Don't worry about using the disposable... if it works, then great!
If you wanted to ditch the sposies though, you could try double nappying with cloth.. I guess it just depends on how much extra absorption you need - how wet was the BBB?

When we use the BBB atm for nites ( you know our dramas too lol ) we are using two of the extra long snap ins with a small snap in inside the nappy then throw a microfibre between the BBB & the cover.
This seems to work but if you havent got a huge cover like we have the XL Bummis not sure if a cover will fit lol.
Im getting a wool cover made for him atm & i now doubt it will fit due to having to super boost .... :banghead:

For Oliver I was using the BBB boosted with both snap-ins, an extra bamboo booster on the outside with a microfibre cloth folded up underneath a fleece liner on the inside.
For Jordan I was using 2 long snapins, a super heavy duty bamboo doubler outside the nappy and a microfibre cloth folded underneath his liner.
They were both waking up with nappies that were drenched at the front (tummy sleepers) and almost dry at the back. Both the boys were wet through the front of their pyjamas.
I'd been boosting as much as I could while having them still walking (waddling) as there was just too much bulk between their legs with all the boosting.
I'd love to get a GNST... but don't know how it would work.. and in all honesty, using a (cheap) sposie over a BBB saves us more money... as I'd have to get 4 heavy wetter GNST's PLUS 4 covers that would fit over them.... and that's a huge cost for kids who :fingerscrossed: will be toilet trained soon.
