As you all probably know I have had shocking morning sickness since Christmas. Suddenly today it has disappeared, no nausea, but some weird pressure in my pelvic area.
I'm a bit worried.
Hopefully the m/s has just gone (all of a sudden  ) and it's just a bit of stretching. I just feel really weird.
Can anyone help with suggestions of what might be going on?

I know how you feel. I had the same thing this time and got a bit worried. It actually went for almost a week and then it seemed as soon as I thought, well maybe I'm just lucky, it came back.
Try not to stress, but if you are worried you could always get it checked out.
How many weeks are you now?

9 weeks, just started week 10.
I hope it's nothing, it's so easy to get a bit worried.

Mine went away at the start of the ninth week.
It is hard not to stress until you start getting movement and then you can worry that they aren't moving enough.
I actually thought that maybe because it had started earlier than with Oliver that maybe it was leaving earlier too. Wishful thinking, came back and stuck around for a long time after that.

Hi Wattle,
I am 12 weeks and 3 days and my morning sickness pretty much went in week 11. I still get moments where I feel a bit sick, but its just every now and then and not all of the time. I havent been sick now since Saturday morning and before that was Thursday night, so I am trying to enjoy it!
Sometimes it has been known to come back in the second or 3 rd trimester, dont know why that is, but best to enjoy the departure of the morning sickness!
As for the pressure in the tummy! I know exactl what you are talking about as I also started a few posts on this subject. Apparently it is just due to the baby growing and the uterus stretching! It can be quite painfull at times (I noticed that it was a lot worse if I needed a poo) anyway, it hurts a bit more around the 11th or 12 week as this is around the time that the uterus starts to move up from behind the pelvic bone. This takes a ot of stretching inside our bodies particularly for those of us that are first time mums.
A warm bath (not oo hot) can help also I find that laying on my stomach can help. Walking seems to aggravate the problem for me.
I hope this helps!!

hi yas,
i was a violent all day vomiter from week 8 to 14 and i hated it so much. i was so thankful when it let up- you just cant enjoy being pregnant when you feel like you have a never ending case of gastro.
i too was worried when i felt fine - which is weird, youd think we would be happy for the relief! but in those weeks if i woke up feeling well, i would panick. so dont be worried about worrying, its a first time mum thing i am sure. also there is a lot of pain, for the last week i have been woken with a recurring ache through the bottom of my pelvis which i was quite worried about, but my friend who is a midwife said that weeks 15-18 are the most painful weeks in a first pregnancy cause its alls stretching and moving so i have stopped worrying now. she also said to take 2 panandol and if it goes away dont worry about it but if it hangs around and gets worse than maybe see your doctor or midwife.
so lets all TRY not to really worry, babies are incredibly resilient (its our bodies that fall apart!) good luck to all who have still got the dreaded sickness, i really hope it all lets up soon.

Oh, you poor dear.
I was just going to say that maybe you shouldnt speak so soon as mine came and went so regulalry, and just when you think its gone...it rears its ugly head again.
Hope your getting lots of cups of tea brought to you or whatever it is you can stomach.
I hear doing puzzles and quizzes is good to take you mind of these things?
Hope it passess soon,
Lx

Thanks Lilac, hubby can't make a cup of tea ( ), but he is about to vacuum the loungeroom, so no complaining from me.
Thanks for puzzles tip, great idea. Good to read bubhub too, although I haven't been replying much lately. It seems like there are some lovely new members.
