View Full Version : When to test?
I am currently in the dreaded 2WW, but I dont want to test too early and get a BFN.
Just wondering if anyone out there got a +ve before AF was due, and how many days before AF did you test?
This wait is KILLING me!!!!!!!!
I had a pos the week before I was due. I did the test in the arvo too cause I didn't read the fine print telling you to do it in the morning!
7-10 dpo is the earliset most people reccomend but I've found 11 dpo is apparently when most people will get a bfp.
I tested negative when pg with Thomas until 3 weeks after o! Kept testing coz I just knew I was preggers.
Right now I'm heaps late but not sure if I'm pg.
Good Luck!!!

did a test in my lunch break on 12DPO and got a feint positive with 2 x tests, then bought another brand and got another +ive. I am normally a 26 day cycle so I guess that 12 days dpo was almost AF time anyway

I tested at 13 DPO with my last pregnancy. I always get 2-3 days of spotting before af so when i didn't get that i knew something was up!

I tested a day b4 AF and that was CD27 and I ovulated on CD15, but it was so so feint. AF didn't show the next day, which is when I knew I was pregnant. The following day I went to the doctor to confirm and it was BFN. What's doing there, I reackon, he needed his eyes tested, requested a blood test and got the results 2 days after doctor and it was a BFP. I had even taken my pregnancy tests into the doctor and he said those lines have obviously appeared later and to go home and wait for my period to show. Needles too say I didn't go back to that doctor and wanted to shuv those sticks up his bum. LOL.
I can see the lighter side of it now, but wasn't at all impressed at the time.

I was doing one every week - cause I couldn't wait, and it finally tested positive 3 days before I was due
