I am an older dad and a journalist. I am doing an article for a well known national magazine on older dads-that is dads to be or dads already. Ideally I am looking for men who have fathered their first child in their late 40s, 50s or even 60s.
I want to write about the reasons for not having children earlier and the rewards and downside of later fatherhood.
Because I am an older dad myself I believe I will be able to approach this subject with sensitivity and empathy.
