Disappointing ENT Appt

Just need to get it off my chest.

I took my son who's 2.5 to the ENT today. He had grommets put in 5 mths ago and they have fallen out already:eek: His Glue Ear is back and again he has no middle ear activity. We have to wait till the end of October to have them put in.

It's annoying becuse although it's nothing major they were supposed to last a lot longer than that. Now he needs another minor operation and I am just upset that he has already been through enough. He was born 12 wks early and it just seems that it never ends for him.

awwwwwwwwwwww u poor thing. My son had grommets and I think they are still in but wont know until August.

I was told anywhere between 3-12 months they can fall out and that 5-6 months is average.

But the fact that he has gone back to having glue ear is a bit of a pain. And waiting until October to get them in is even worse.
