family photography...

I want to start doing family photography and photo recreation (like putting angel wings on babies boddies etc). Does anyone have any idea how I can start this up ie how to promote myself & how much I should charge? Any help wpuld be really appreciated.

Why not advertise on the hub :D

You could also print up some flyers and see if you could display them at your local childhood health clinic (easy and cheap) you could offer a special deal or something to get people in so they can see your work and then use word of mouth to get your business growing etc

Create your own website to show case some of your work.

I hope it all works out for you.

Price.. What is your competition and what do they charge? Also work out your cost and how much profit you want to make and still be competitive.

Promote your business... Also drop your flyers off at kids groups ie playgroup, kindergym, etc. Look at some websites local and overseas and recycle some ideas.

I had Pixi photos done once and they cut the top of her head off in all the photos and they still do the flowerpot thing!!! hehe

Sounds like a great idea - better than pixi but not as expensive as a professional.
