I recently bought a "grab n go bottle" warmer which I think is fantastic. A life saver after visiting a few mothers room with no microwave or bottle warmers.

Its like a heat pack and pouch for your bottles. You press the starter disc inside the heat pack and the liquid in the pack begins to heat. Then wrap the heat pack around the bottle and place it all in the pouch. It takes about 5-10 minutes to heat the bottle to the right temperature. It uses no batteries or power (its all based on a chemical reaction) so you can use it anywhere. Once the pack heats it goes hard and then you just place it in boiling water to make it go soft and its ready to use again.

I found it online at ETOC products (sorry no link) and it cost $24.

It also keep my husband amused for a while trying to figure out how it worked!!!!

Hey...

I bought one of these last Sunday - Forest Lake Markets- for any brissie mums interested.. cost me $30 .. and I love it :)

you do have to anticipate bubs hunger (my little man doesn't like to wait 5 minutes while the bottle heats :) ) - but it certainly works...

I was a little paranoid about situations like being stuck in traffic?? or having parent rooms without microwaves (guess that is one advantage to bfeeding  ) - I figure it was better to have it and not use it than struggle to heat a bottle!!

- and I have to admit that it IS fun to play with :D ... and really easy to reset!!!

Ooooh this sounds like a great idea !
Maybe for next bubba !
But i have to say the best thing i started teaching bubs was to even drink warm milk in that i would heat the bottles up before we left & then i just used his insulted bottle bag which was also a great investment which kept it warm for the rest of the day so he would have them regardless. :D

Veve,
How funny!
Can't believe you got one at the Forest Lake markets. I live at Forest Lake.
Never would have thought to check at the markets. Oh well, its always fun getting a package in the mail!

LOL - it IS always fun to get stuff through the mail.... I was frustrated that it took me two weeks to get the damn thing... the markets were rained out one week... I was quite irritated (dont these market people realise how hard it is to get organised with a DS ???!!! rain hail or shine people.. I need 'stuff'!!)
