OK people. This might be a long story, will try to keep it short.
Before I fell preg with Andrew, I had looooooong cycles. I'm talking months at a time. The last cycle before I fell pregnant was probably upwards of 6 months - I didn't keep track precisely.
Anyway DH and I decided that after our honeymoon, if AF hadn't returned, that I would make a trip to the docs and find out what funky things were/were not going on with my body. Anyway :o we found out we had fallen pregnant a few weeks after our honeymoon. So, a very very lovely surprise for us, and I DO mean surprise!
So now Andrew is 11 months old and having 3 breastfeeds a day (none at night, not for months now) and my AF has still not returned.
My question is - is it worth going to a doc now that I want to TTC again? Are they going to tell me to give up breastfeeding before they will try anything or refer me to anyone? How long should I wait before being worried about AF not returning?
Sorry for all the q's - just not sure whether or not to hit panic stations yet. 11 months seems like a long time to go without!
