Hi all. I'm after opinions.
Chloe is starting to show more interest in toileting, though we're still at very early stages. She's just started a new daycare and they will encourage her to sit on the toilet at each nappy change, and yesterday I let her run around bare bottomed outside. I'd be happy if she toilet trained soon... but, I'm hoping to go home (Canada) for easter and don't want to wind up on a 30 hour flight with her in the middle of toilet training and needing to go to the toilet NOW when we're in the middle of boarding or something.
Am I being pessimistic about how long tt may take? Or should I tell her daycare not to encourage her on the toilet until after our trip? How long did it take for your child from the first stage when they were first aware that they were peeing to being able to hold it for a few minutes?
