I would like to have my son done and it has been disucussed many times with both my mother and my partner. We have all agreed that i should get it done.

My mother is a nurse in an old peoples home and she has had to have men circumsied at the age of 70 because it has grown over. She also has to roll the skin back on them to wash them properly. I dont think that would be very nice for eitehr my son or the nurse that will be doing it when he is older

I also dont know any different to being circumsised.

Welcome to the board. There's a lot of information here about how easy intact penises are to care for and how rare circumcision later in life for medical reasons truly is. Many parents circumcise because it's all they know or based on rumors and later learn more and wish they'd made a different choice. You owe it to both of you to make sure your decision is based on solid, accurate information.
