my 10 month old has started to chuck some serious tanties. She in the last couple of days has decided that she hates the car, archs her back and cries hysterically when I try to buckle her in, it can take me up to 5 minutes to try and talk her into getting in. Also does the same thing with the pram. She has also started crying hysterically when I take something off her  . Is this normal or do we need to prepare ourselves for a little demanding diva? It is fairly obvious that she is getting a mind of her own which is something that I want to nurture, but I am just getting frustrated with the constant crying? Help! it has been driving me crazy!:banghead:

Hi there
DD started doing the same thing at 10 months but it didn't last long. Hopefully it's the same for you. I found the best way to convince her to get into the car seat/pram was to distract her first. Make sure she had her favourite toy or something new to look at and while she was concentrating on that, strap her in! Best of luck. I'm not sure you can do much about it... you can't reason with a 10 month old!
