Has anyone else's husband been totally off sex since the birth of their child? :o Can't be lack of sleep as our son only wakes once a night now and I get up while he snores.. :mad:

We have less sex than before Jakob was born. But that's because I'm tired from working part time whilst looking after Jakob and the house etc. Chris works from 6am to 6pm and is usually buggered by the time he gets home. He gets stressed out a lot about money and providing for us, so that could be a reason. I have also heard that some men are a bit shocked after watching the woman they love go through labour and give birth. Plus it's a major life change, someone else is taking up the majority of your time and energy. Hope this helps. :)

Not that this helps directly (I guess), but maybe shows there's light at the end of the tunnel. After breastfeeding our first baby, I noticed that everything in that area is much more sensitive than before and INCREDIBLY arousing :) . Here's hoping for even further improvement once I stop breastfeeding number 2 (breastplay at the moment is out of the question due to scarily powerful let down reflex). :eek:

Im the one that has gone of sex, and I wish I could do something about it. I love my husbane and he loves having sex with me and I use to love it too until I had sharni but Sharni is now 1 and my sex drive is very low. Is this normal??

I have also gone off sex! And although I love my husband I find that at the end of the day I've given out so much affection to my 7 month old son that I have none left for my husband. I know many of my friends with young babies also feel the same way. But if anyone has any suggestions to bring back the spark please let us know!

after i had my bub i couldntr really have sex for a while, Even thou i highly wanted it, i was cut wheni had Jaz about 8 stiches or so so had to wait for that top heal an didnt help i bleed pretty much start for like 3 months then ever 2 weeks for like a yr, only now im kind normal once a month thing
I couldnt get my partner to keep off me thou he allways wanted sex thou he wasnt workin mabie thats why we had good sex back then lol
i haded sex thou casue i felt Icky of what i looked like downthere an found it took like over 2 yrs for my vag musels to snap an developed back
i had a good bub she used to sleep throught the nites i found the older she gets the less i get :P dont help we live in a caravan lol so it embarasin eve thou i know she is fast asleep
