Has anyone tried Sckoon organic cotton nappies? And how are they? I've felt the fabric and it's so divine! - very soft.

It's made of Demeter Certified Egytian Organic Cotton 100% and Egyptian cotton is supposed to be very absorbent (I don't know about that cos I haven't tried it;) ).

I've got a few but wasn't overly impressed. The organic factor appealed to me but I found the nappy itself was a bit of a let down. I found it wasn't absorbant enough for us but then DS is a heavy wetter (will totally soak an unbleached Tots or Baby Beehinds in 3hrs easily). I disliked the fact that the aplix didn't have fold back tabs which meant that I had to wash them turned inside out which isn't that big a deal but just another hassle. Even when washing turned inside out, I found the aplix would snag anyway. The fit wasn't too bad, a bit ruffle-y around the waist but provided decent 'containment' when it mattered.

It might be worth getting one or two to try out anyway because everyone is different :)
