Hiya everyone,

Really wondering if there is anybody that would like to share their story of a successfull VBAC. Doesnt matter if its after twins or not.. I have been reading so much info and still can not decide. All the info and stats that the hospital gave me all seem to be from the 90's and nothing up to date. I guess I really dont want to go through labour again to just have a ceaser at the end. Mid you I had no worries with the ceaser, up and around the next day but with twins at home would love to be able to pick them up etc when I get home. I had quite a yucky time with regards to bossy midwives etc so would love to get home asap too. Ceaser was done due to failure to progress, I got to 4cm..

So confused!!!!

Ali Jayne,

Check out site called birthrites.org. Has heaps of cool info.

I think if you can, go for a VBAC. I have just found a new Ob who is going to let me try VBAC as my original Dr is advising against it, his only reasoning because CT showed I am narrower than average but from what I'm reading CT is unreliable. I only had a C/S last time due to feotal distress but that decision is debatable as she wasn't distressed at all, APGAR = 9!

Anyway, if you can, have a VBAC, you will recover better and be able to lift your babies at home up instead of trying to explain to them you can't because it hurts sooo much....
