I really want to start using cloth wipes as it make sense to just chuck them in with the nappy. I've been using them for the wet nappies but what happens when you get a dirty one?? Do you have to rinse it out etc? Cos im thinking its gonna be more work and a bit more gross then just using a disposable one. I'm still a bit scared to try so i've still been using my disposable ones for those times. :D Thanks heaps.

I wipe with the nappy first so really there isn't much left on the bum to wipe up then I just chuck the cloth into wipe I don't bother rinsing it 8unless their is alot of poo on it:yes:

thats what i do to
i use the 'wings' of the nappy to wipe up most of the mess then the cloth wipe to get the rest
I just rinse into the toilet with the little squirt, the same as I do with the nappies.
I love not having to buy wipes anymore. :D

I usually just treat it like a nappy - into the bucket, to wait for a full load, then inot the washing machine.
I sometimes will give it quick rinse to get rid of any excess if its a particulary messy nappy.

If there is a huge amount of poo I wipe it with toilet paper so I just flush it (I always change the pooey ones in the bathroom!). But otherwise I just wipe with the wipe and chuck it in the nappy pail with the nappies.
Same here. If there is lots on the wipe, I shake it off into the toilet, but otherwise it just goes in the bucket with the nappy.

I'm a bit funny about bits of poo in the nappy bucket  but it's all fine because I just spray the wipe with the Little Squirt along with the nappy... just an extra bit of fabric to squirt, that's all. Another reason why I love my Little Squirt! And no hint of poop left behind

Ive never really noticed huge amounts of residue on the wipes so have never rinsed but i am funny about them going into the nappy bucket !
I actually keep them inside the nappy until wash day so they dont smear the bucket lol !

I use toilet paper or tissues, whatever is closer

What are the wipe from baby beehinds like? are they any better than a washer?
I wipe down with the liner, use a couple of cloth wipes, then sleuce as much off into the toilet before chucking into the nappy bucket.

Other's mighn't agree, but personally I prefer the washers. I use BB wipes and Little Wishes washers- a few $ in a pack of 5 from Safeway.
Why? The terry cotton pile is great for 'grabbing' wee in a pocket nappy- on top of hemp (closest to nappy inner, inside the nappy) and then letting the hemp take up the moisture iykwim. So they are handy to use as boosters as well as wipes.
The BB ones seem to have a bit of poly in them (for stability, I assume). I don't find them very soft, despite the baby terry fabric.
