I'm thinking an ergo would come in handy for carrying my nearly 1yo on my back.....

anyways I want to know, is it ok for such a big baby?

how easy is it to get the baby into the carrier and onto your back? Can I do it by myself or is it a 2 man operation?

Where did you get yours? The one place I knew of that sells them has sold out.

i love love love my ergo

i havent used the pram since i got i!

i got my from greenkids but you can get them from all over the place.

i have only tried to put DS on my back once and he hated it.

i did it by myself too

it does come with a dvd that shows you how to do it.

i've seen people carrying bigger kids on their back with no problems!

An ergo would be fine for a 1yr old, they can apprantly carry up to a 3 or 4yr old!! You can always look at a Patapum sling, they look exactly like the ergo but they also do a toddler size which is a bit longer in length and they are a bit cheaper. Im not sure if carrying away (internet site) sells them, but do a google search and you will come up with it I am sure

I use an ergo for my 16 month old, and it's great.

I can only do front carry on my own for now, but I haven't really tried the back carry yet.

I have an ergo!!! :D
I love my ergo! I can put it on, and put Cobes in and out by myself. I can also turn him from front to back by myself/

I love it.

i easily and comfortably carry my almost 3 yr old daughter in the ergo. she's 14.5kgs and i'm 5'4'' and 55kg so not that big! it actually gets easier with a bigger child because they can climb in to the piggy back position by themselves. i cant manage to put my son in the back position by myself but front carry is fine.
