I am waiting on my order from BB and the packet of disposables I bought for DS are almost gone, I tried a BBB on him before with no cover but it was quite wet on the outside. What can I get from the shops to tied us over? He is only 1 month old, so they need to be quite small

I don't like how they 'sweat' and smell, but that might be my best option at this stage. Do they come in newborn sizes?
what about fleece trackies? I have heard they can be used. or a wool jumper? cut it and sew it together like a cover?

:detective: hmm, I'll have to have a look if he has any fleece trackies.

You need to make sure they are 100% fleece (polarfleece) and not a blend of cotton, etc as otherwise they will leak.
Depending on where you are there are a few irl shops that sell MCN covers.

Try the fluffies covers they are at kmart and target and big W i think they are wool blend they are the really nice fluffy ones. If not big w and target have fleece type ones that only have one strip of pvc in the wet zone they worked well with the terry flats i have plus i have used them over some of the fitteds i have made on occasion. Tatget have their own brand and big w ones are called cuties i think. hth

they're too far from me:thumbsdown: I'm still not up to 6weeks post c/s, so shouldn't drive really far. Plus I still have to wait for DH to come home with the car. I will probably end up going to BIG W and see what I can find there.:o

thanks, I know the ones you are talking about. I got one for DD when we first started cloth and it works really well, even over night. Only problem is the velcro came unone on one of the sides after only a couple of uses. I'll look and see what there is.
