Wee going through fleece?

Im currently using BBB at night with a bamboo booster and a tots bots fleece cover. At first it worked really well but lately im noticing that in the morning although my DS is not wet, his clothes and sheets (also not wet) smell like wee. Is this normal with a fleece cover or am i doing somethin wrong??

Well, fleece allows the urine to evaporate somewhat, as it is breathable. Wool does the same thing, however, the lanolin in the wool neutralizes the urine, so you don't get that smell, yk? You could try boosting the nappy a bit more, so there is less 'excess' that needs to evaporate.. other than that, I don't know what to do *shrugs shoulders*

Try extra boosting and see if that works. If not, the fleece cover might have a build up of washing powder, wash it in nothing but hot water a few times.

If that doesn't work then I have no idea. Maybe it's time to use a more reliable cover such as a knitted cover or try a BBB with a fold up and a BB PUL cover.

I have the same trouble with fleece, and have pretty much stopped using it, when I need something reliable. I'll use a fleece cover for short periods, like after bath but before night nappy... Hope that makes sense!
Wool is a much better option, IMO.
