I've got daytime cloth down pat so I want to try and use it for night-time as well. I really really don't want to be changing a sopping baby in the middle of the night though so can I get some tips on how to get through.

What do you use? I bought two BBB's and I have a wool soaker, would one of them with the soaker be enough? He still has 1 or two small bottles in the night and a Huggies just holds up until morning although he stinks to high heaven (what is it, it's just wee). Can I still put pj's over the top or will the soaker not work then?

I use a BBB with boosting and soakers. I've done this since dd2 was about 10mths, and she's now 22mths and it still works perfectly, from when she goes to bed until she wakes in the morning.

Do you have any boosters? If not, you could use the snapins from another bb as the boosting.

I put a small rectangle booster on the inside of the nappy and then a BB foldup booster on the outside of the nappy. Soaker/longies over the top!

Oh, you can put pj's over the top of the soaker. The pj's may end up feeling a bit dampish, not really wet or anything though. I do it and it works well.

Thanks so much. I have boosters I've sewn but they are only flannelette or terry towel for daytime. I will try using both the snappins from the BBBs tonight.

Your homemade boosters would be fine - it's all about experimenting with what works for you and bub. You could lay a couple of your boosters on the oustide of the nappy.

Hi, I have been using Haute pockets overnight and having no problems at all, however I think I am alone in this as most people seem to prefer fitteds like the BBB for night-time, but just thought I'd let you know what works for me ATM. Also I don't think my baby is a very big night-time wetter so if your baby is then pockets probably aren't enough...

I use cuddlebuns that I have made with super dooper boosters and a pair of longies, works brilliantly :) I don't even keep a pack of 'just in case' sposies now!

I'd use the BBB and a bamboo fold-up added as a booster. Or a long snap in from another BBB (as well as the two snap ins already in the nappy).

I use wool soakers under fleece suits, wool soakers under flannell pjs and Ariene also has a few pairs of longies which are just perfect and definetly what we preferr  She always sleeps in a growbag too.

I use a BBB at night mostly altho a fleece pocket works as well. My babe is 9 mths and I've just started using some extra boosting- she usually sleeps all night tho without feeds. Whilst wool is a good cover sometimes it means a bit of dampness & smell in the bed clothes. Because of all the rain at the moment I want to cut down washing so have started using (BB) PUL covers sometimes that work well too.

I've got some home make pocket nappies with waterproof fleece on top, some pul outer layers.

Stuffing I use a tick bamboo insert and 2 microfibres. No leaks after 250 ml feed and 11 hours sleeping.

While he was having less than that for foos , one microfibre booster was enough.
