Helloooooo

Do planes have change areas for bubs??

I was just thinking, as Ezaria always does No.2's at the most in-opportune (sp?) moments, she'll probably 'go' just as we board for nz

Thanks!

They have change tables that fold down in the toilets. Very cramped but it can be done.

Just before we fly off I would change nappies and hopefully can tough it out til we arrive  if it happens through the flight see if bubba is ok and can wait til arrival if not then change her in plane they have one but ugh crampy! wouldn't do it again!

I was thinking the toilets would be the most obvious place, but then I thought how on earth could it fit? Those toilets are sooooooo cramped as it is!

Okey dokes, thanks guys

The change table in the toilets usually folds down from the wall above the toilet. It is short in length, but extends to the counter so you have a bit of room there too.

I used a very small pouch, like a ziplock bag, to carry 2 extra nappies and a travel size pack of wipes. It was much easier to manage in the small toilet than with a large change bag.

Good idea
Thanks!

Any tips on how to get her to not do it in the first place?

As you know there is no rhyme or reason why they like to do things at the most inconvienant times.

I too change just before we get on a plane, and depending on the length of the flight will have to again before we get off if it's just a wet one.
There is no way I could wait till we get off to change a stinky one. I'm sure they would throw me off the plane if I left her stinky.
It's not hard really to change in the toilet. Just make sure you carry a couple of spare nappies and a change of clothes and wipes, plus something to lay on the table.

Dont feed her for 48 hours before you leave?

But for your sake, hers and everyone around you, do change her if she does one!!

I agree with chickadee - dont even bother trying to get a nappy bag in there.

If it is inconvienent, they will poo.

If you need to change the nappy, ask the hostie to pull the change table down for you, as often your hands a full or alternatively get the hostie to hold the baby while you set up. my advice is only then venture in to change.

Our record is 3 poos between Melbourne and Perth and two changes of clothes. It was :barf:

Enjoy your trip.
